The invention relates to the field of information storage, namely, cassettes with optical recording media.
The purpose of the invention is to prevent damage to the optical recording media.
FIG. 1 shows one of the possible variants of the proposed cassette with optical recording media; in fig. 2 and 3 embodiments of elements with different optical properties.
The cassette contains a casing 1, in which the clamping element 2, made in the form of a cylindrical roller. The clamping element 2 is located against the window of the side wall of the casing 1 between the coils 3 and is coupled with an optical recording medium tape 4, made in the form of a tape base 5 and elements arranged on it with different optical properties. The side wall window 1 is made in the form of a cylindrical optical meniscus 6 coupled with an optical recording tape medium 4. The length of the cylindrical optical meniscus along its generatrix is equal to the width of the tape carrier 4 of the optical recording, and the casing 1 is filled with dust-proof.
Elements with different optical properties can be made in the form of protrusions 7, having a reflective surface 8 and located on a tape base 5 from the side opposite to the clamping element 2
(Fig. 2) .. In this case, the difference in the heights of the protrusions 7 is equal to a quarter of the wavelength of light in air.
Elements with different optical properties may also have protrusions 9 located on the tape base 5 from the side of the clamping element 2, made with the reflecting surface 10 (FIG. 3). Moreover, the ribbon base 5 is made transparent, and the height of the protrusions 9 is equal to a quarter of the wavelength of the light at elevation. In this case, the protrusions 9 can be made with a reflective surface from the side of the tape base 5.
The operation of the proposed tape with optical recording media is as follows.
The light enters the housing 1 through
a cylindrical optical meniscus 6, to which the optical recording medium 4 is pressed by the pressing member 2. In this case, the optical recording medium 4 is moved from
relatively cylindrical optical meniscus 6 by rewinding it from one coil 3 to another.
In the embodiment, from (& brazhenny figure 2, the light entering the casing 1 through
the cylindrical optical meniscus 6 is reflected back from the reflecting surface 8. The difference in the distance traveled by the light rays reflected from the reflecting surface 8 of the protrusions 7 and the intervals between them is half the length of the wave in the air.

. 1. CASSETTE WITH A TAPE MEDIA OF OPTICAL RECORDING, comprising a casing in which a clamping element is installed, located opposite the window of the side wall of the casing between the coils and mated to a tape carrier of optical recording made in the form of a tape base and elements located on it with different optical properties, characterized in that, in order to prevent damage to the tape carrier of the optical recording, the window_ of the side wall of the casing is made in the form of a cylindrical optical meniscus paired with tape m by the optical recording medium, and the clamping element is in the form of a cylindrical roller, the casing being dustproof, and the length of the cylindrical optical meniscus along its generatrix is equal to the width of the optical recording tape medium.
